Material

In the manufacture of our folding rulers, only raw materials are used that are intended for tools and consumables with a very long service life. These include polyamides (used in plastic anchors) or glass fiber reinforced polypropylene. Both materials are particularly resistant to breakage, abrasion, moisture and chemicals used in manufacture.

Sustainability & Service Life

Compared to folding rules made from other materials, such as varnished beech or birch wood, a LongLife® folding rule has a longer service life. This saves energy and costs and is therefore an active contribution to the careful use of resources.

Automation & camera control

The scrap is kept to a minimum through largely automated production processes. The scale is 100% camera monitored.

Short response times, fast delivery

We do not only advertise short delivery times, we also keep them. For usually, your order arrives one to two weeks after release. This is partly because we are the manufacturer ourselves, and produce the meter sticks & folding rules, calipers, special measuring equipment and injection molded parts ourselves and have them in stock at the plastics plant. Printing is of course fresh.

Small minimum order quantities

Our customers include large companies but also small one-man businesses. We allow an order of folding rules already from 100 pieces. For calipers, the minimum order quantity is 50 pieces. You need smaller quantities? Please contact us. We are sure to find a solution.

Since the company was founded in the early 1970s, we have been developing and producing measuring tools such as folding rules, calipers and special measuring equipment at our Buchs, St. Gallen location. True to the motto: by professionals for professionals.

We source our raw materials from Swiss suppliers, so we always have a resource-conscious value chain. As a manufacturer of non-metallic measuring tools, we can look back on decades of successful metal replacement.

In addition to our long-standing production facilities, we have in-house printing machines, which enable the finishing of the measuring tool by pad printing. There is also the option of digital printing on request.

Calipers

Our calipers are made of non-metallic high-tech material with 60% fiberglass, our range includes both analog and digital. Most calipers have an additional integrated depth gauge. Brands: DialMax®, DigiMax® and CaliMax®.

LongLife® folding rules

Our LongLife® folding rules are made of high quality plastic and a proportion of glass fibers. This plastic mixture gives the folding rule scratch, scratch and water resistance. This makes them much less vulnerable than conventional wooden folding rulers. Due to the processing of the material, LongLife® folding rules have a high elongation at break and withstand heavy loads.

They are also characterized by patented, backlash-free and wear-free joints. The high-quality joints do not require any maintenance, do not rust and sit tight.

Many of the LongLife® folding rules have a descending scale that enables reading from both sides. With deep hot stamping, attention is always paid to a color difference to the background in order to make reading even more user-friendly. It is not possible to rub the scale as it is deeply impressed.

Some of our models also have two metal ends on both sides.

Of course, all of our LongLife® folding rules have been tested and all have an accuracy according to EU standards. The accuracies vary between II and III depending on the model. They are also CE approved.

Special measuring tools

In addition to folding rulers and calipers, we also produce other measuring tools. Our special measuring tools includes the Pneumax tire profile measuring device and the Picturefix.

Both products are made of plastic and reinforced with a glass fiber component for absolute stability and durability.

We produce MaxiFlex 1/2 inch® with our in-house injection molding machines.

We produce MaxiFlex 1/4 inch® with our in-house injection molding machines.
